Hey everybody, welcome to the Tom Woods Show, episode 2395, delighted to have Richard

Haneia back on the show and he is here with a brand new book just out this week from Harper

Collins, The Origins of Woke, Civil Rights Law, Corporate America and the Triumph of Identity

Politics.

And Richard, before I sort of officially bring you on, I want to say that there may be some

weary viewers who think, oh, woke again, I've heard a lot about this, but you have not heard

the Richard Haneia thesis, which is quite different from what you're going to hear from a lot

of other people.

And I personally think it's much more convincing and it also happens to be in a way a simpler

explanation than some of the high pollutant accounts for how we got here.

So Richard, welcome back.

And yeah, I understand the weariness of the debate.

It seems like, especially if you're on Twitter, if you're on social media, it seems to dominate

our political discourse and I've been paying attention to this for a while and it's just

so repetitive.

I mean, the left talks about inequality and the right talks about free speech is not racist.

That's how we get a truth at, you know, it's the same thing over and over.

And if I was just going to write, you know, I wouldn't write another book like that because
