Nick Sabin and Alabama went into last week with no coordinators and a number one recruiting

class, but after yesterday's reported agreement with Kevin Steele to become the defensive

coordinator, they have now filled both coordinator positions. Now, we know that Kevin Steele

knows ball, he'll his coach for 130 years. And he said three different stints with Alabama,

including being Sabin's first defensive coordinator when he took over in Tuscaloosa in 2007. Talk

about coming full circle or bringing the band back together. Now, Steele has been in the

game for 39 years and he's coached just about everywhere. And in my opinion, he fits exactly

what Alabama needs right now at DC and he's the polar opposite of his offensive counter

part in Tommy Reese, who's the new offensive coordinator. You want balanced age wise on

your staff in Alabama has that. Now, Steele isn't out there trying to build up his resume

as a young coach. He isn't out there trying to impress some other head coach from afar
