The book is a collection of true stories profiling second generation immigrant gay men coming of age in Los Angeles.

Under the weight of tradition, conformity, heteronormativity, and repression, they seek community and chase their own dreams while navigating between old school families and promising new friendships.

Anthony and I talk today about his choices to write for all audiences and throw academic pretension to the wind.
