In this live episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris is joined by Case (of all people) to discuss the Lions home loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Another game in which the Lions were projected to lose, they proved the prognosticators correct. This time they have no one to blame but themselves. It wasn’t the officials, bad luck, or anything else. Almost as if a giant karmic ‘F-you’ to the Lions after they had us thinking they were a good call or good bounce away from winning. The team is playing better than they did last year. It’s just that they aren’t pulling in the wins, and games like this make people believe they are just hapless. Detroit Lions Podcast – Down On The Defense! This is the first loss of the season that really took hope away from fans based on the team’s actual performance. Was this week’s performance an anomaly, or is this really the Lions team we will be watching for the remainder of the year?  It’s not time to give up, but we now know just how bad this defense can be.
