I can't believe 233 episodes. That is amazing. That's like over 50 years, isn't it, or something? I can't do the math. But it feels like you must have been doing it before Joe Rogan.

I suppose it works well on your mindset, doesn't it? You're now thinking, well, I cannot save it with this show. There's a limit. If they don't like it now, this isn't going to tip the balance. So it kind of takes pressure off. There's a lot of podcasts out there. So to be achieving partial growth in an era where everyone that's in a relationship with somebody that can talk on a microphone is doing a podcast, I'll take that. As you're back out on tour, I just wondered about your eating habits on tour. I know it's a weird thing to say, but what's your approach? Because obviously the price of food has gone up, and I'd imagine that you're somebody who has an eye on the bottom line. What are you going? Are you going for one good hot meal that you buy out

a day? Are you a pack lunch guy or are you doing fucking pot noodles in the Premier Inn?

When I'm on the actual road doing the service stations, I'm now largely about the banana

hule. Sorry, that genuinely should be. I'm about the banana hule is, I think, for our listeners, the least of a sort of list of a thousand things people would not expect to hear from Simon Evans on a podcast. I'm all about the banana heel was up there. Well, it really, it's like a sort of remarketed Angel Delight. And I loved Angel Delight, the 70s. And now it's got extra minerals and vitamins in it.

You know, it's fantastic. And, um, see if he did this heel thing. I mean, no Romish Ranganaughan, he's got in great shape through doing the heel. And I want to keep ignoring it. But then when people like yourself are doing the heel, I don't want to do the hill. It's only because it's the best

And it's better than those supposedly high protein grenade bars or whatever, which are disgusting. But of course, when I get to the destination, if I time it right, it's the local spoons, isn't it? Spoons is excellent because it's got a range. They're doing everything from Thai noodles.
