Hey everybody, Tom Woods here. It's been quite a while since I've spoken to Steve Patterson.

Steve, we must have talked about your Bitcoin book. Maybe the last time you were here,

I don't even remember. Yeah, I think it was actually we did a little philosophical discussion.

And I think the one before that was a Bitcoin book. Oh, you're right. You're right.

So you've been kind of an independent, I don't even know. Do you want to use the word

scholar or do you feel like that's been there too many painted shisters who use that word?

Yeah, it's funny. I actually was given a talk several years ago and somebody introduced me

as an academic and I was like, listen, that is a four-letter word.

I would not use academic. That's true. So I'm just an independent researcher. I'm probably going

to qualify as mostly a philosopher. That's the stuff I've gone interested in mainly over

years. But my work and my interest cover up the range of topics. So politics, economics,
