Welcome to talking in scripture. I'm Mike and I'm Bryce and today we're going to be

0:27.6

talking about first second and third John as well as Jude. So what's going on here, Bryce? Let's talk about what you

0:35.9

think is happening here and why it matters. All right. So in order to really

0:39.5

understand these epistles we need to go back to John's Gospel. I remind you that John

1:45.0

commandments. So he talks about abiding in him like I am the vine. The other

1:49.7

great love is if you love God, you will love those he loves, you will love his children and you will serve them.

1:57.0

So Jesus starts the Last Supper by gabbing a bowl and girding himself and washing the disciples feet and says this is the great

2:05.8

love you know those wonderful phrases all throughout the last supper where he says

2:10.0

greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.
