It's typically like I'm on the radio of a voice for radio but not a face for television.

Did I just say that? Why is my prayer life not more robust why does my walk

with God not more authentic why doesn't obedience come easily because there's a

the Puritans talk about there's a spy in the castle. I've got sin in my heart. And so all of those

are constantly working against us and so what I would say and you know you guys are about to chip in,

just I think discouragement is a reality we can't run from.

I think there's general discouragement which I've just talked about. The real issue

is fighting particular and discouragement. it get seeping into your soul where you get really down, really depressed, you get, you know, there's no window out from the moment you're in.

And so the trick for me are the issue I think we always go.

We're always going to be discouraged.

The challenge is to be more encouraged and discouraged.

Try this on for size, gentlemen.

There is something I don't know that I am supposed to know.

I don't know what it is I don't know and yet I'm supposed to know.

And I feel I look stupid if I seem both not to know it and not know what it is I don't know.

Therefore, I pretend to know it.

This is nerve-wracking since I don't know what I must pretend to know.

Therefore I pretend to know everything. I feel you know what I'm supposed to know

but you can't tell me what it is because you don't know

that I don't know what it is.

You may know what I don't know but not that I don't know it and I can't tell you.
