Chris Cuomo was born into one of America's most prominent political families and became

one of America's most prominent broadcast journalists.

I dropped by CNN headquarters yesterday to sit down and talk with him about his life,

his family, his career, and his new enterprise as he prepares to move from morning television

to primetime with a new show on CNN.

Chris Cuomo, as always, good to be with you.

Good to see you on the other side of that mic.

What a pleasure to be here with you.

So you know I'm a huge fan of your family.

And I knew I'm a New Yorker and I was very much a fan of your dads.

And but I'm always interested when I talk to guys like you about what it is like to grow

up from the beginning in a political family.

I mean, I came to it in a different way.

You grew up and you spent much of your childhood in the, I guess, from 12 on, right?

In the governor's mansion when you were just a little kid, your father was running from

mayor of New York.

So politics was everywhere.

And what was that like?

What was it like at your kitchen table?
