For this episode, I bring you Agatha Christie's Miss Marple, episode titled Nemesis, where Miss Marple reads a letter addressed to her from an acquaintance she met while on vacation, who was also recently deceased.

Leave an instruction to investigate a crime.

Only problem is he failed to explain who was involved or where and when the crime had been committed.

Mr. Rafael, whom I had met on holiday in the Caribbean, had left me a legacy in his will

on the condition that I solved a crime.

But there were no clues as to what it was.

I was simply booked on a tour of famous houses and gardens, but I soon realized that

the mystery concerned Mr. Raphael's son, Michael.

From Miss Temple, who was also on the tour,

I learned that he had been loved by a girl who had died.

At the old manor house where I stayed as a guest of three strange sisters,

I learned from a servant that he had murdered her.

And from Professor Wonstead, I discovered that Mr. Raphael wanted to find out whether his son was really guilty of the crime.

But Miss Temple, whom I hoped would tell me more, had been seriously hurt in an accident.

The professor had been finding out just how serious her condition was. We present June Whitfield as Miss Marple in Agatha Christie's Nemesis.
