0:27.6	I recently learned about Matthew Dix through Kurt Frankham's podcast, Leading Saints.
0:34.2	He had him on as a guest a little while ago.
0:36.6	My mom actually mentioned him and I listened and loved his episode there and then I went and found his book called Story Worthy.
0:46.6	And I bought it on Audible and listened to it twice so far because I loved it so much.
0:55.2	So this is sort of how I get sometimes when I find something I'm excited about.
0:59.0	I get a little bit obsessive and dive right in.
1:01.0	And that's how I felt when I learned what Matthew Dix teaches about telling stories.
1:06.4	So obviously in the work that I do as a coach with you guys here on the podcast and in the speaking I do and things like that.
1:12.8	Being a better storyteller would be something that would be really useful to me.
1:17.0	But even for all of you listening who don't have a business and don't have those things going on.
1:24.0	Storytelling is such an important part of how we connect as human beings.
1:28.6	Right. It's an important part of how we share our history with one another, how we even pass along information and teach one another human beings learn best through stories.
1:40.2	Stories are when engage our brains. They would help us to connect dots.
1:44.4	They're just so so powerful.
1:47.0	And I know most of you listening to this podcast are members of the church.
1:51.6	And so you're giving talks and teaching lessons.
