We've got an interesting episode ahead of us today and indeed tomorrow also.

Because we're talking about a book written by our two guests today, Gary Richide and

Charlie Westerman called A Twisted History of the United States, 1450 to 1945.

So, you know, I'm not going to say welcome, gentlemen, because you'll say thanks for having

me on over each other. It just doesn't work when I have two guests.

So instead, I'll ask you one at a time, or maybe one of you wants to take this,

the origin of this project and how you chose what to some people might be considered

rather idiosyncratic beginning and ending dates.
