I'm J.J. Stankovitz here in Bourbonnet with the great John Moon-Mullen. We just got done watching the Bears' first practice open to the public.

It was about a two-and-half-hour practice.

And the big story today, Moon, it's technically Saturday, but really it's Friday.

It's five o'clock somewhere.

Is that the kind of thing?

No, it's because Elliot Fry made nine of ten kicks in practice today, hence my terrible

joke.

Yeah, that was good.

No, and the last one, 60 yards.

I don't think it wasn't wind-aided.

I mean, there's kind of a crosswind.

I thought, I don't know, if you could detect different places around the field,

you could hear one of the coaches, or Nagy, whoevergy or whoever said okay field goal and that was probably the biggest murmur

through the crowd and everybody's kind of running forward let's watch this it's uh I think everybody's

probably tired of that storyline but until it's solved it's still a storyline yeah and and

Elliott fry making the field goals he made today, 9 of 10 again,

that does not win him the job because Eddie Pinheiro did not even kick today, which Matt

Nagy said was by design. They wanted to set it up where they alternate days between Fry and

Pinheiro to give the kicker a day to prepare for it, to kind of mentally get in the state

to go out there and make

field goals and you know so fry missed his first field goals from about 33 yards and then he kind of
