Summary

In 1974, six members of the DeFeo family were found murdered in their home in Amityville, New York. And the scene of the crime was troubling... in fact, curiously, it appeared as if none of the family members had awoken while the others were being murdered. And when a suspect was finally arrested, and he began speaking to investigators about the voices in his head that told him to kill, things just kept getting stranger and stranger. This is one of the most infamous true crime stories in American history, and the case that inspired the film series "The Amityville Horror".
