We watch athletes compete all the time and they always wow us with their unbelievable ability

and their ability to prepare at a very high level. Sometimes we almost forget that they're made

of flesh and bone, just like the rest of us. Now, after seeing the scary Demar Hamlin situation in

Buffalo and yesterday morning hearing about the tragic passing of Georgia sophomore offensive lineman

Devon Willick and recruiting analyst Chandler LaCroix, it's a terrible reminder of just how fragile

even the best and most prepared of us are. We get upset about losses and we get excited about wins

and we should continue to do that. That's part of the essence of sport. But we all know that

there is so much more to life. So it doesn't matter if you're an accountant and NFL wide receiver,

a candle salesman or any occupation. Make sure you hug your loved ones today and every day

because life is so unbelievably fragile and we should never take at least at ever a second for granted.
