Marxist Unity Group. We also have Alia who is also a rank and

filer in Mug, a DSA organizer, or starting a DSA organizing committee in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and an editor at Cosmonaut magazine.

Well, much thanks to you for coming on the show. the antifada I regret to say or maybe this is an

editorial choice or just how things shook out but we don't usually have people on who are outside of our little milieu, whatever that milieu is, it's like

councilists, communizers, left coms, post-trots, anarchist communists, whatever.

Like we usually kind of have friends on who are vaguely within that, but you guys are here as Republicans, which is impressive and I hope we can have a fruitful back and forth here and

before people get a little wigged out of course I'm talking about small

are Republicanism and we'll tease out through the course of this episode what your theories are and what practice

follows from your particular program, your particular line on how socialism and or communism

is possible. The reason I wanted to have you on is that I myself

have been grappling with for a year or so now quietly but also on the podcast with what manner of communist

politics might have a broad appeal and mass reach in the 20th century in America. The various types of Stalinism, Maoism,

Trotskyism, and anarchism and whatever that you see, mostly online but also offline as well, don't really seem up to the task in general
