Yesterday, Clemson fired Brandon Streeter as their offensive coordinator and made a Godzilla-sized

splash by hiring his replacement Garrett Riley, formerly of TCU, who was just in the national

championship game.

Now while Clemson hasn't won less than 10 games since 2010 and made the playoff as recently

as 2020, the last couple of years have felt somewhat stale, especially offensively.

Now missing on DJU was a big factor in that, but there seems to be a little bit more.

Now while Clemson still has a dominant defense, the skill positions around the quarterback

haven't had the flash that they normally do.

The typical home run hitters like Travis ETN, T Higgins, Justin Ross, and Ray Ray McLeod

don't really seem to be there right now.

To be honest, the offense was getting stale and the vibe was getting worse.

Now by hiring an innovative mind that speedsters and go getters on offense would love to play

for, well, that's the perfect remedy.
