So this evening what I'd like to talk about is the same theme that I used a couple of nights ago

in here for the ending of this two-month practice period, which has to do with the spirit or vision with which one

carries the wisdom of the temple and the temple of course could

be the outer form but more importantly it's what you touch inside when you come to the

temple how one carries that back into the mid-stove

and the play of complicated daily modern society of your life.

And I'll start with an image or a story.

When I was living in Thailand, which I have on and off, starting in the 60s, that's where

I spent some years as a Buddhist monk, among other things.

In the 1970s, there was a revolutionary period where the Thai government was being run by some military generals and

it was relatively repressive and then there was a student rebellion as you may notice happens
