Welcome to the Aircariels Like Show. We're back and right now we're in the clubhouse of Rivermont Golf Club. Rivermont Golf Club, but there's another C on the end of it I saw from outside.

Rivermont Golf, I saw two C's, R.G. C.C.

It used to be Rivermont Golf and Country Club. Oh I say now

Chris has changed it. We sold the pool and tennis and so it's just a golf club. So now

it's just Rivermont Golf Club which is R. which is something I believe in called the Random Golf Club

which I think you're a part of now.

Mark Hoban, you are the superintendent of Rivermont Golf Club.

I could go into a lot more detail. of Rivermont Golf Club.

I could go into a lot more detail to define you,

but I feel like that's what we're here for,

to talk together.

How do you see being a superintendent?

Well, it's the greatest job in the world because it's my office is always outdoors. And I love the outdoors even though if it's raining or cold I still would prefer that

than an indoor office space. So I look at it that way I get in very early get to see the

sunrise and the beauty of the day starting every day.

Don't have to work at night so I appreciate the the elements.

And you basically we'll get into a lot of the intricacies of how you do your job and how you make it a craft and how it's so unique. I guess the overall theme for that would be sustainable

golf course, agriculture. Right, just low inputs and kind of on that less usage of pesticides and in organics and more environmental friendly type slant to my management style.

Right. There are so many interesting things I want to dig into this when we played the course this morning.
