Welcome back to Mama Mystery. I am your host, Kelly, and thank you so much for joining me today for another true crime deep dive.

Before we get started, I want to acknowledge something I said at the end of last week's weekly docket episode regarding the heartbreaking story of a five-year-old girl who was beaten nearly to death by two kids only nine and ten years old.

I've done a lot of soul searching lately, trying to figure out just what my purpose here

is on earth.

And maybe it's because I'm 37 and I'm like approaching a midlife crisis.

I don't know.

But I firmly believe everyone is here for a reason.

And I firmly believe that my place here is to do something positive,

whether it's help families, help animals or children.

And when I think about my purpose,

I think about what evokes the most emotion out of me typically.

And y'all know that I'm not too shy to cry on this podcast.

But nine times out of ten,

I am brought to tears over stories that involve children.

But I also firmly believe that you cannot just be a problem identifier.

You've got to be a problem solver too.

You can't just bitch about a problem, identify the problem over and over, and yet offer no solution, because then

it's just a waste of everyone's energy. So I thought about ways that I could have a positive

impact on our youth, and ultimately I arrived at this idea that I'm really excited to share with you

guys. It's still very much in the early stages, but I want to bring you all along for the
