This week on Pivot with Purpose.

We had help and we had this business or this company that helped us come up with names and branding.

Girl, that costs money.

So I spent a year working this as a side hustle.

So I was still collecting my check.

We bootstrapped the business initially.

We ended up putting over the course of about a year and some months, $140,000 of our own money into the business. I sold my engagement ring. I emptied my 401k. I maxed out my credit card. So it wasn't like we just had all this extra money sitting around. But the business was growing. We needed to be able to support it.

And so I was anything that wasn't bolted to the floor I was selling to be able to try to fund the business.

This is my show where I pivoted from shit I'm 30 where I was dreading turning 30.

I had a failed marriage, failed engagement after that, and I don't have a relationship with my

immediate family. But through it all, I came out the other side with a thriving business,

an unexpected radio morning show of my own, and a platform where I can reach millions of people

and help them walk in their truth.

I am now celebrating every step of my journey into continuously finding my purpose, the good,

the bad, and the ugly. Sometimes this journey looks like shit, and it probably sounds even worse,

but it's still our journey and I'm learning right along with you to enjoy it.

There's always a rainbow after the rainfalls.
