There is a wealth of knowledge and I don't think most people like you said realize what

goes into grooming and how it's an entirely holistic thing as far as behavior like not only

are you doing something aesthetic, but also your goal is to keep them healthy.

It's to also check their body.

We're usually the only ones seeing things on a routine enough basis to where we could

notice if there's a change in a mole or you know they're acting different, but also we're

training them in a sense as well with being a okay with grooming but be handling you know

being able to touch their paws and being able to look in their ears and their mouth and

that is to me invaluable for the clients too.

So yeah I say it's a lot more involved than most people think, but I think if you apply

yourself and you have that artistic eye you can be great.
