In an incident that has never occurred before and I'm confident will never occur again a pygmy

hippopotamus attacked and killed an antelope at a grand rapid zoo in Michigan. Curators for the

John Ball Zoo were excited to introduce the public to two new pygmy hippos during the zoo's

hippopalooza event on June 2nd. The new enclosure was set to house the hippos alongside two European

white storks and a type of swamp dwelling antelope from central Africa called a citatonga.
