Hey guys, welcome back to the show and thank you so much for tuning in. Today we are going to be responding to the latest episode of

MTV's Decoded hosted by Francesca Ramsey that looks at the idea of good cops versus bad cops.

Then Netflix is actually promoting trans children in their latest kids

series the babysitters club it's pretty shocking stuff to get us started though

if you're at all familiar with online political discourse which if you're watching or

listening to this episode you probably are you've likely seen at least a few episodes of

MTVs decoded featuring Francesca Ramsey.

If you haven't, it is a web series of short episodes,

like 10 minutes each that looks at different issues

relating to progressive politics and social justice. They've covered things like cultural

appropriation, fetishizing POC. I think there was an episode about whitewashing too, that kind of thing.

The series was especially viral during 2016 and it seems like every single

anti-social justice commentator was responding to episodes of MTV's Decoded.

I know I certainly did a few back in the day,

but they stopped making episodes for a while,

for whatever reason, but now they are back

with a new season that is apparently going to be

focusing entirely on issues related to the police in light of the whole BLM

thing. So here we have the first episode they've put out which looks at the concept of there being more good cops

in police forces than bad cops. And before we look at the clips we have here, I do just want to say that

surprisingly, I don't disagree with everything Francesca Ramsey has to say here.

I am in favor of police reform and criminal justice reform and a lot of the things she says in this episode, I think broadly people of all different political persuasions will probably agree with, right?
