0:24.6	Welcome to episode number 212. We're gonna talk about evolution today.
0:30.1	How does that sound?
0:32.1	So I use this term evolving quite a bit.
0:36.0	I use it when I'm coaching. I use it here on the podcast and
0:39.7	sometimes people say, what do you mean by evolving? Because
0:44.6	aren't you a member of the same church I am and don't you believe in creationism versus evolution?
0:52.8	And I say yes, I do believe in the creation.
0:56.3	But I also believe in the word evolution and I use it quite frequently.
1:03.1	So I just want to talk to you about
1:05.8	what I mean when I use that word first of all personally and
1:09.9	why I think it's such a fun concept to think about and
1:15.0	specifically think about in terms of your life.
1:17.6	So I personally do not believe that we evolved from apes or any other species.
1:24.7	I believe that we were created by a higher power by a heavenly father
1:31.2	who loves us and created all of the things here on the earth including the human beings and all
1:36.8	of the animals. So a traditional Christian sense of
1:42.0	creation is something that we in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe.
1:47.3	So you're probably familiar with that even if you're not a member of the church.
