Hey, it's amazing to me that it's already October the 17th.

That blows my mind.

Fall's been going on for nearly a month now.

I don't know if you've noticed this, but if you're out in nature, starting, it depends probably on your latitude,

but somewhere in mid-August to late August, there's an energy that suddenly happens.

And it's the fall energy.

The light changes.

The sun's at a little different angle.

There's a sense of goldenness.

I sometimes say it almost feels like time is off. You know, and you walk outside to get in your car and the light's so different and you say, whoa, and you look at your watch, did I forget

something? That feeling, I believe, is part of nature's way of saying, get ready, winter's coming.

And I see it all the time with the animals animals it's like the squirrels get twice as busy

trying to collect their nuts you know all the animals get a little bit crazier the bears they get

more aggressive at digging into trash or funny enough we even had a bear it was so smart it learned

how to open all of our car doors and where we we live, we don't have to lock our cars.

You know, crime here is just not an issue up in the mountains. But a bear came through and opened up all of our cars, three different cars, three different car doors open. I walked out to head to work. And I saw my car door left open and I thought, what on earth my kids know better than
