| 0:00.0 | Hello and welcome to the Taskmaster Podcast. Yes, you should know what this is by now. |
| 0:18.5 | The TV show Taskmaster. It's a fun show where Greg Davis, a Taskmaster, sets tasks for |
| 0:24.3 | five comedians, or in this case, four comedians and a producer, and his Taskmaster's assistant |
| 0:31.4 | helps out with all tasks. That's Alex Horn, but he's secretly the genius behind it. If |
| 0:34.9 | you didn't know those basic things, then you shouldn't be here. Go away, educate yourself |
| 0:39.2 | on Taskmaster, watch the episodes, and then come back and listen. This, I'll be honest, |
| 0:44.2 | if you've not seen Taskmaster before and you don't know what it is, this podcast is going |
| 0:48.0 | to be absolutely baffling. Because here we chat to people who have been on the show, |
| 0:53.2 | who have fans of the show, about specific episodes, specific tasks we chat through, the |
| 0:58.7 | scoring, all of that sort of stuff. But look, guys, sometimes that doesn't happen. Sometimes |
| 1:03.6 | we just have a lovely chat about Taskmaster memories. Sometimes we end up talking about |
| 1:08.1 | something completely different. It sometimes spins off like life, guys. You can't predict |
| 1:13.1 | life. What you can predict is that if you email Taskmaster podcast at gmail.com, you will |
| 1:19.6 | be able to send us a question. We will read those emails and we will perhaps pitch your |
| 1:23.4 | question to our guest. I'll be telling you next week's guest in the outro to this podcast. |
| 1:30.0 | So listen to the podcast, enjoy the podcast, and we'll see you afterwards. This week's |
| 1:35.4 | guest is with the brilliant Ben Bailey Smith, aka Doc Brown. I will be calling him Ben during |
| 1:42.2 | the episode because that's his name. Doc Brown is his stage name. Yes, that's how he |
| 1:48.3 | was known on Taskmaster, but it's the same man. So we will see afterwards after a lovely |
| 1:54.1 | chat with Ben Bailey Smith. Welcome, Ben, to the Taskmaster podcast. Thanks very much for |
| 2:02.4 | coming on. When was the last time I saw you, Ed? I'm trying to, like, in real life. I don't |
| 2:07.2 | mean, like, zoom life. Not that I've seen you on zoom, but it would have been like, it |
