Hey guys, we want to jump in here before the show starts to let you know that we record our

podcast about a week in advance, so that's why you're not going to hear us discuss the past week's

events during this episode.

Listen, we realize it's a difficult time for everyone right now, and if you're not in a place to listen to

anything that's not directly related to the social issues at hand we get it.

But we actually want to share how we feel about the situation.

We are appalled by the systematic racism in the United States.

Unfortunately, it's nothing new.

What happened to George Floyd and Brianna Taylor and so many thousands of others

has been happening for years.

And even though we're not a political podcast,

we want to say that we support the peaceful protests against these

racial injustices and we also want change.
