And listen, big story with this White Sox team is

Eloy Jimenez and had a chance to sit down with him here at spring training

and some revealing stuff about he almost quit the game

of baseball in 2014 went 0 for 40 yeah I can't imagine Ile Jimenez having an 0 for 40 slump

yeah but you know the the stuff he said about quitting jumped off the page to me but then

you see why and the reasons he gave about being in a new country,

2,000 miles from home, doesn't know the language, can't order food, in this, the one thing he

knows and knows well is baseball, and that's not going right for him either. So he's looking in the

mirror and he doesn't recognize the person he sees. So obviously we're all thankful he didn't quit the game,

but you could, it's tough for any one of us to put ourselves in those shoes. Yes. And they talk

about, he talks about winning a World Series. But it's not just him speaking about it. He has

daily conversations with Mike Rodolfo and Luis Bissabe and even Luis

Robert has been a part of those conversations as well. These guys are talking it and they want

to back it up with a parade someday in Chicago. I think he's talked about it since being

acquired from the Cubs. He is not afraid of expectations. And I think there's a few of these guys
