Hi everybody, Tom Woods here. I am joined today by my friend James Delling-Paul, who was just such a great guy. I just love him. I just love the guy, okay?

And I am preface this interview with a little bit of a cautionary note for the more delicate among you just to say that James is going to say some things that are going to shock and scandalize you.

But you know occasionally we all can stand to be shocked and scandalized and I don't think I do enough shocking and scandalizing frankly.

And look, I agree with James on a lot and on other things I'm not so sure but I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be right.

But either way, I just love the guy, you know, officer take me away. I love James Delling-Paul. I don't know what to tell you.

So I'm just letting you know folks buckle that seat belt because here we go.

Hi everybody, I am so excited. I know I always say I'm so excited to have this guest but this time I really really mean it.

I just stole that line from you James, I never say that but every episode of the Delic Bond starts off with you saying I know I say this every time.

But I'm really excited to have this particular guest on but I am excited to have James Delling-Paul on who is the host of the Deling pod which has my favorite opening bumper music of any podcast in world history.

You're the author of numerous books. You've been a columnist. I want you to introduce yourself to my folks because you are like the best person in the whole UK in my opinion.

Yeah, well I'll keep it simple. I am the host of the second best podcast in the whole world. Obviously I we know what the best is Tom but you are the man.

But yeah, and that's what I do really. I'm my wife thinks I'm an English country gentleman.

She says it quite disparagingly meaning get off your ass husband and do some bloody work rather than going out riding and hunting and shooting yet again.

I think I'm a dad fly. I'm an irritant to the establishment which I was formally part of I think almost part of and now I'm very much a rebel against the system I want to destroy it. It's corrupt and it's it's right for destruction.

What else yeah, I'm cultured at the same time I like the odd split. I'm a man of many parts Tom.

No doubt which is why your show is so interesting it's not just an economic show or a religion show or a culture show it's everything it's it's the deling pod in the same way that the Tom would show is it's not the libertarian news hour it's the Tom would show.

So it's going to have the occasional odd episode on just something that I find interesting that I think the listeners might also find interesting as we were connecting as I was sending you the link to hop on with me.

I went over to patreon which we all know has its problems but I went over there to make sure because I've had to change credit cards in the last few months and I just wanted to make sure that my contribution to the deling pod was ongoing and it says I'm current even though I have not given them the new credit card information so I probably still do that but I check that specifically because I thought if there's one thing I want to keep on doing it supporting James Dellingpole so that's my priority for this morning.

Yes enough I mean I already had enough reasons to love you Tom but I really really do appreciate it I mean you know you're putting your money way mouth is and it's yeah I do appreciate it thank you.

Well I think of it this way I get tremendous intellectual pleasure out of your podcast and I'm also very entertained so I had a chip in a bit in fact you know sometimes I thought this way I think about some of the music I enjoy.
