Kind of an unusual topic for the Tom Woods Show, but my guest today is Jared Wall,

who has launched a business called The Hemp Spot, but the is spelled with a C,

so it's THC, Hemp Spot. So THC, Hemp Spot, dot com, is the website.

And he sent me an email. Subject line was, the E-business we started, thanks to you.

Well, how am I not going to open that? So I did.

And he says that his business was doing very well.

But then he says, we discovered that the cannabis industry is still largely

discriminated against by financial institutions.

They lost their payment processing and banking services,

and their business was effectively shut down for 72 days, and they have an e-book

recounting their travails.

Now they're back up and running, or as of October of 2021,

and they've been working to grow their client-based back ever since then.

But it's an interesting story. We're going to be talking about something called Delta 8 THC.

Some of you folks already know all about this.

But that's interesting. What he describes it as the amazing market-based answer

to a political prohibition of cannabis. So here we are with applied libertarianism
