This week on Pivot with Purpose.

When you're in a music industry, you're around a lot of toxic masculinity.

So I had a very negative view of men.

I thought they were all disgusting.

They used their power for wrong.

Like I got hooked up on a blind date.

And I sit down with this guy and he's so

self-aware. He's spiritually, mentally evolved. I could tell he was living in his purpose. He mentored

young men. And the way he talked, I had never met a man like that before in my life. And I remember

thinking, it's because of what you do. And I remember thinking

there's no way this type of man is going to date a woman like me. So I wanted to change my life

that day. So girl, I went home and a month later, I moved to Arizona and started plotting,

plotting my shift. Hey friend, you're listening to Pivot with Purpose.

This is my show where I pivoted from shit I'm 30 where I was dreading turning 30.

I had a failed marriage, failed engagement after that, and I don't have a relationship with my immediate family.

But through it all, I came out the other side with a thriving business, an unexpected radio

morning show of my own, and a platform where I can reach millions of people and help them walk

in their truth.

I am now celebrating every step of my journey into continuously finding my purpose, the good,

the bad, and the ugly. Sometimes this journey looks like shit, and it probably sounds even worse, but it's still

our journey, and I'm learning right along with you to enjoy it.

There's always a rainbow after the rainfalls.
