who served as special advisor to the president

and as a member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force in 2020.

From 1998 till 2012, he was professor of radiology

and chief of neuro radiology at Stanford University Medical Center.

In 2020, he released the book, Restoring Quality Healthcare,

a six-point plan for comprehensive reform at lower cost.

He has been editor, associate editor,

and a member of the boards of numerous scientific journals

and national and international scientific societies

over the past three decades.

He's received numerous awards and honors

in recognition of his leadership in both policy and medicine.

And he is the Robert Wesson Senior Fellow in Healthcare Policy

at the Hoover Institution.
