1:24.0	And we started this conversation on Friday. I said I wanted to go two parts here because I think Kevin Samuels,
1:31.0	what he represented, was very important. He passed away tragically on Thursday.
1:38.0	Under somewhat mysterious circumstances, it took a long time for the news to come out about Kevin Samuels.
1:51.0	But Kevin Samuels has passed his 1.4 million YouTube following and his amazing Instagram Live videos that really challenge black men and black women about our relationship and dating habits.
2:07.0	But again, I keep applying race to it. And that was his primary audience.
2:14.0	But extended well beyond that. He was a part of what I call the manosphere and what many people call the manosphere.
2:22.0	He was someone that had a patriarchal masculine worldview and explained to men and women in a lot of times harsh terms to be more realistic about their relationship.
2:36.0	He was particularly hard on overweight women. And I thought when I listen to the show, just overweight people.
2:45.0	And it didn't offend me. I thought he was speaking truth.
2:49.0	That if you want certain things, relationship wise, you better be willing to do certain things.
