Alright what is up everybody I've got Jim to my right and at press time as I like to

say it's January it's cold Jim and I are just coming off a coyote hunt where we hunted

in a negative 18 Jim a bit of a cold snap just a bit and keeping that in mind what is

on our mind right now is deer because deer at least for me Jim they're always on mine.

Yeah I was going to say that's not really a timely thing it's just an all the time thing.

Yeah yeah which I think for any healthy person that's how their brains should work.

So across from us we've got Kip Adams from the National Deer Association.

Hey thanks guys and tell you it was only minus nine in my house this morning so I feel a

little weak now or like a wimp given the temperatures you guys are dealing with.

I don't think you're a wimp at all I just think that means it's time to pour up a margarita

throw on the swim trunks fill up the kitty pool outside and go take a dip.

Exactly very tropical negative nine very tropical.

Kip if you can tell us a little bit about yourself and you know introduce yourself and a

little bit about the National Deer Association to give people a little bit of structure and

framework of where you guys are coming from. Sure I'm in northern Pennsylvania I'm the chief

conservation officer for the National Deer Association so which means I'm a wildlife

biologist work with deer deer hunters and in deer management professionals across the United

States and Canada. I call Pennsylvania home but I work in 20 to 25 different states a year

and I'm teaching people about deer and how to enhance habitat how to manage deer.
