This week is our 200th episode, so this is a very special episode and ask us anything

episode.

I'm Gretchen Reuben, a writer whose study is happiness, good habits, the poor tendencies

and human nature.

I'm in New York City and with me is my sister Elizabeth Kraft and Elizabeth, when we

started doing this podcast, we never looked into the future to imagine doing it 200 times.

As me Elizabeth Kraft, a TV writer and producer living in LA and Gretchen, I can't believe

today of all days when we're celebrating our 200th episode, I was late to record because

and I'm almost never late, but it is pouring here, which it never does.

Which it never does.

Never does traffic was at a standstill on the 101 and I was about to run out of gas, which

I never about to run out of gas because I'm psycho about keeping my gas tank filled,

but events conspired and I was sitting on the freeway late for our 200th episode and thinking,

oh my gosh, I'm going to run out of gas and have to have AAA come rescue me from the 101.

So it was a very stressful morning, but I'm going to try to compartmentalize and just celebrate

our 200th episode.

I can't believe we got here, I mean I remember doing our pilot episode way back when and

thinking, oh my gosh, is this really going to be something and now we've done 200 episodes?

I know, I know and it is funny, you're like, oh we've got this all figured out and then

it's the 201 where it's like, okay, now everything is suddenly like in crisis, but you're
