Hi, H.B.'s, Aaron here with another episode of Heaving Blisoms, a romance novel

podcast in which two friends get together and catch up and discuss and

giggle about a new romance novel each week or in this case part two of a romance

novel which is the duchess deal by Tessa dare. So if you need a little recap

before we start off this episode we've got our heroine Emma Gladstone who has been

working as a seamstress for many years because her father of

Vicker cast her out when she was 16 years old.

And we've got the Duke of Ashbury who was a war hero in the Battle of Waterloo and had a mortar explode,

badly burning and scarring half of his body.

So he got dumped by his first betrothed because she couldn't stand to look at him anymore because he was so badly scarred.

And the person who made her wedding dress was Emma, thestress and so she showed up demanding to be

paid by the Duke and the Duke decided okay since no one can look at me and I'm not

going to get a bride the old-fashioned way, I will offer

to marry this seamstress.

So Ashbury and Emma have gotten married.

They've had several false starts at having sex and this most recent time they were interrupted by Emma's

junkyard cat and the Duke has gone off into the night to walk off his sexual frustrations as he often does.

So I think that's where we left it and yeah let's get into it. So then she meets up with Devina the next day, Devina the pregnant girl and

they make more plans about them both going to Swanley.

She's hoping that she can be pregnant by Christmas

so that she and Devina can go and be confined together.

Because she finds out that she's not allowed to go anywhere
