You know, there's been a million stories and documentaries

and books written about the death of Lent bias and what happened after that. And that's interesting. and by the process of how the guy was drafted, how the Celtics wound up with

Len Baez at the number two pick. You don't read a lot about that. You don't

think there's much mystery, but there is a little bit of it. And we brought Jan Volk and

he was a general manager of the Celtics at the time and he talked about the

entire process you know Brad Doherty how they wound up with the pick the trade of

Gerald Henderson the whole thing a pretty good conversation with Jan Volk about the

drafting of Lembys. Were you looking to trade Gerald Henderson?

No, not initially.

I mean there was no expectation or interest in trading him until we got an offer.

It came shortly after we signed them, right?

Shortly after we resigned it, maybe five days after we resigned them,

I got a call from another general manager I know quite

well who was in the Eastern Conference, who initially was calling to find out what the

deal was, what did we sign him for? And when I told him, and that's all

available, I mean there was no confidence being divulged because that information in the year of the salary cap was was

available but we we talked he said gee so that's a pretty good deal you guys did you guys did okay
