So I read your story on Monday or Tuesday that all guns should be gone.

Oh yeah.

We live in the magical world and all dance around and the gun free world.

I was definitely talking about dancing.

And I do wonder sometimes when I read your stuff when I talk to you, is a part of you that

just says, because there's a part of me that when I do the show every day that I don't want to really talk

about sports that much.

Oh hell yeah.

There's a part of you that says, you know, why don and I just become a political columnist or why

I just become an op-ed guy and just do you know shit like that and not write about you know Eduardo r r r r r r r r r r r much about Eduardo Riegiz as you do about the gun issue?

Yeah so that's an interesting thing I first of all no I don't want to leave sports

writing to become an op-ed writer I like to sort of sort of like you guys do on your show

dip my toes every once in a while because writing the same stuff like 15 of my

covered my first Red Sox game in 96 so 20 years I was at the middle sex news it wasn't even the metro

West daily news the middle sex news and I saw the white socks pounds Tom Gordon I think that was my first game but anyway

so in 20 years you cover this stuff and for the first like even 10 years

every once in a while you write a story and it's like, oh, this is amazing.

The first time you write about Red Sox, Yankees, like, oh, this is the best.
