Some recruiting news for you as Tennessee lands another commitment in the 2019 class.

Here from Jeremy Pruitt, Tennessee's head coach talking about the high school background of a lot of the coaches on Tennessee's staff and how that might tie in to Tennessee's current recruiting efforts.

Also, Jeremy Pruitt talking about a very important player on Tennessee's football team, one of the most impactful

guys on the field potentially this upcoming fall. And today's newcomer to know is one of the

most talented players in Tennessee's 2018 class, a player who will have a chance to help Tennessee

as Tennessee picked up a commitment from defensive end Roman Harrison.

Now, Roman Harrison is a guy that hasn't gotten a lot of attention on the recruiting trail to this

point. He is from Bainbridge, Georgia, a guy that if you look at the recruiting rankings and

different services are going to have different rankings, but a three-star guy, according to

most spots, and was largely unknown,

I think, entering the summer months. If you look at the 24-7 sports rankings, he's the 91st

rank player in the state of Georgia, the 870th ranked player in the nation. Again, I think a guy that

even for the recruiting services just popped up on

the radar recently. His background with Tennessee is that he visited in June, camped at Tennessee,

and that helped earn him a scholarship. So Roman Harrison is the 15th commitment for Tennessee in the
