Dan Carlin is the host of my favorite podcast, Hardcore History.But... what?! History?! I know. I thought the same thing. How could a history podcast have a cult following? And yet it did. During research for launching The Tim Ferriss Show, I asked many of the top dogs on the iTunes charts: what is your favorite podcast? Almost without exception, the answer came back: Hardcore History.Since then, I've become friends with Dan (and more obsessed with his show), and this episode explores all the questions I've been dying to ask him, whether related to his early experiments, his "radio" voice, creativity, building podcasts, and much more. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed doing it. Best, Tim

0:00.0 | This episode is brought to you by Athletic Greens. I get asked all the time what I would take if I |
0:05.2 | could only take one supplement. The answer is invariably Athletic Greens. I view it as all |

0:16.0 | 10 years ago and I did not get paid to do so. With approximately 75 vitamins, minerals, and |
0:21.6 | whole food source ingredients, you'd be very hard pressed to find a more nutrient dense and |
0:25.8 | comprehensive formula on the market. It has multivitamins, multimineral greens complex, probiotics, |
0:31.6 | and prebiotics for gut health and immunity formula. Digestive enzymes, adaptogens, and much more. |
0:37.5 | I usually take it once or twice a day just to make sure I've covered my bases if I missed anything |
0:42.8 | I'm not aware of. Of course, I focus on nutrient dense meals to begin with. That's the basis. |
0:48.3 | But Athletic Greens makes it easy to get a lot of nutrition when whole foods aren't readily |
0:52.4 | available. From travel packets, I always have them in my bag when I'm zipping around. Right now, |
0:57.7 | Athletic Greens is giving my audience a special offer on top of their all-in-one formula, |

1:38.3 | As in Tim Ferris Show. Athleticgreens.com slash TFS. |
1:42.6 | Welcome to another episode of the Tim Ferris Show. Thank you for tuning in. I'm going to start with a |
