We are at the point now where Boonesboro is under attack by Indians. the Revolutionary War has heated up, and the British

Empire has decided to enlist the Indians to fight on their behalf. So the Indians are getting paid off.

They're getting offered money for scalping. Any white people or settlers in there. And the goal is for the Indians to do most of the

fighting and for the British Empire to assert their rule over the country once again.

So most people fled Kentucky because it got too hot, too dangerous. But Floyd and others, Boone, they have all decided they are not going to leave
