This book is a non-fiction writing, a letter to Coates's son about race and

specifically the Black experience in America. My guest this week is Jay Connor, who is a writer and also the creator and

co-host of the Extraordinary Negroes podcast. Jay and I dissect the book,

talk a lot about race, violence, and the body in America. There are no

spoilers this week. This book brings up a lot of issues that we discuss and
