We just spent three and a half hours with Amanda Bowling,

Brian's sister.

Wow, okay.

She told a story, which I found heartbreaking.

You know, after it all happened, Josh was sitting on her parents' bed

and he was crying and emotional and she went in and hugged him

and said, don't worry, it's going going to be okay it'll all work out.

It's heartbreaking because that was a genuine like she genuinely felt that way and I think she loved Josh and then she now thinks he did it.

You know? At the moment did she think it was an accident that that he had shot Brian or did she think it was like Brian?

She thought Brian had done it because that's what they're being told.

So yes, she believed it was Russian roulette or somehow Brian shot himself and she did not doubt that.

In the aftermath of Brian's death though, his family did begin to have doubts about what

Kane Joshua's story had told them.

And investigators would later conclude that Brian's injury had not been self-inflicted,

that he had instead been shot by someone else.

Eventually, Kane would be charged with Brian's murder.
