We start on a truck burning rubber down the freeway.

Driving this truck, we have the roguish gentleman trucker,

Dak Rambo.

Sitting in the passenger seat draped out in stars and moons is his close friend,

the Tech Wizard.

After making a few enemies in Chicago, they're on their way to Indianapolis.

It's all smooth sailing until, bam, their truck is towed by local authorities. To get it

back, they'll need to come up with some fast cash. The best way to get that kind of money is by

taking illicit jobs from anonymous sources with heavy pockets. This is also known as Shadow Running.

Tech and Dak pick up a gig and make their way to the rendezvous.

Joining them for this Shadow Run is an old friend and a new one.

The old friend is the robot-eyed WizKid Hacker known as Zenith.

The new one is the mysterious, many-pocketed, elf teenage runaway?

Pox.

This Motley crew meets in a motel parking lot to connect with their mission giver or Johnson.

The Johnson has a straightforward problem.

A bunch of no-good punk layabout technocras have violently overtaken his office. To save face about the affair,

he needs these roustabouts removed discreetly. That's where our shadow runners come in.

The crew accept the job, and just like that, Dak Rambo, Tech Wizards, Zenith, and Pox are

high-tailing it to an Indianapolis downtown skyscraper

to evict these nasty technocras tenants.
