This is a big news. A big one a betting scandal not the first not the last has rock the Italian soccer world.

It's basically an investigation targeting as many as 40 Italian players came to light this week when Sandro Tanali of Newcastle and Nicolo Nicolo Zaniolo of Aston Villa were both sent home by the Italian national team after being questioned by police.

In relation to this investigation so another name that's been mentioned is Nicolo Faggiolo of Juventus.

It's not clear exactly you know what they may or may not have done at this point reports are suggesting they may have gambled on illegal websites.

It's not clear necessarily that they've gambled on sports although it has been suggested that Faggiolo specifically probably did.

So we don't really know what's going on here. Obviously this is going to be a big thing and if it's a 40 players this you know it's going to get ugly.

The players can play you know while the investigation is going on so Sandro Danali and Zaniolo can play in the Premier League.

The athletic has reported that they could be up for a penalty or a suspension of like three years for this stuff.
