Hi everybody, Tom Woods here.

about the 2000th episode of the program, which we recorded this past weekend at a big event

in Orlando, and it will be released when the moment for episode 2000 has arrived.

And it's just as well because we have a little work to do on it.

But I do want to say a little bit about that, but we'll do that after my conversation

with Bjorn Lombord, who became an international name with his 2001 book, The Skeptical Environmentalist.

And today, we're going to talk to him about his more recent book that was released just last year

in 2020, but which comes out in paperback this very week, False Alarm.

How climate change panic costs us trillions, hurts the poor, and fails to fix the planet.

Now, Lombord believes that the planet is warming and that it's due primarily to human activity,

but he does not believe that the catastrophic scenarios being described are either accurate or helpful.

So that's the standpoint he's coming from, and I thought it would be useful for you to know that
