my Aspen trip today and then go into my January favorite.

So we're about to do our first DJ set. We fly. I'm with Lucas and we did have this moment on the plane where we were like what are we doing like are we about to actually go perform for people like in public like is this really happening and it kind of just all hit us at once and I was starting to get so nervous and I could tell that he was a little nervous too, I'm just kidding.

But he's been DJing for eight years nine years ten years whatever so I was like a

little bit worried that he was nervous because I was like you are the you you

know you've done this in front of people before I haven't actually funny story

The way that I met Lucas was back in San Francisco. We were at a party at the battery if you don't know what the battery is

It's kind of a private members club in San Francisco it's

San Francisco's answer to Soho House it's basically full of like tech

douche bags and like founders and whatever but they did throw good parties

back in the day back in the day,

back in the day, you know, in the 2013, 14, 15,

when tech money was abundant and everybody was getting free lunch

and everything seemed great.

You know, San Francisco is a very fun place to live.

So we went to a party at the battery

and I saw this guy who had like long hair

and he just looked cool and at the time there was not a lot of guys in San Francisco who looked you know like
