On June 5 1996, just days after Lollie Winans and Julie Williams were sexually assaulted and murdered, Jackson abducted and raped another woman at knifepoint. He was arrested by a proactive detective. However, a prosecutor declined to pursue charges. Days later he raped again. 0:25.5	we've been working towards for nearly 30 decades for nearly three decades.
0:32.0	28 years ago, two women, Laura Winans and Julian Williams, known by their family and friends as
0:39.2	Lolly and Julie, were viciously murdered in And O'Anandoa National Park.
0:44.7	Their murders sparked shock and fear
0:47.4	throughout the community and nation.
0:51.2	Today, we are proud to stand here and tell you we now know who is responsible for this heinous crime.
1:00.0	While we have been eager to share the news, it was most important for us to tell
1:04.4	Lolly and Julie's families first. Yesterday, our case agent and victim
1:10.4	specialist spoke with the families. This morning, US Attorney
1:16.2	Kavanaugh, Colonel S. Cettl, S. C. Kavleski, and I also spoke with the

1:24.0	We can't imagine how extremely hard it is for the family members to receive this information.
