Today our guest is Steven Presser, who is Raul Berger, professor of legal history emeritus

at Northwestern University's Pritzker School of Law.

And he is the author of a recent article commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Patriot Act

and major aspects of the surveillance state as they have developed over the past 20 years.

And I thought that's as good a time as any to talk about him and to look back on all this.

But no doubt we will have plenty of other things to say on related topics.
